Jim Forbes, owner, started his housing career in 1994 working with factory built structures. Shortly after, he became the Regional Vice President for Champion Home Enterprises, which was at the time the largest home builder in North America. During his years in the business, Jim has seen the completion of nearly a thousand projects.
He opened Western Showcase Homes in 2003, wanting to offer alternative building methods for home construction.

Why we love modular construction
Mods are built in a climate controlled environment. Great for the workers, great for the environment (smaller carbon footprint), we recycle and limit waste. Great for construction process — no weather delays, subcontractor delays, no wet wood during construction. Each mod on average is built with 30% more lumber than onsite construction, making each unit by design for transportation structurally independent of its counterpart. This makes our product far superior in strength than conventional site built construction. Modular construction saves money, faster time to completion saving construction loan fees. Far less impact on your site, eliminates the constant in and out of subcontractors and delivery vehicles (your neighbors will be happy!).
